Gateway Family Church - Auburn

Gateway Family Church was started in 2010 in Auburn, AL by Mike Wright as a prayer group for some of the university coaches and their wives. Our second campus, Gateway Family Church, Birmingham, was launched late in the summer of 2011 in Pinson, AL by Gabriel Wright. Our latest campus, Gateway Family Church, North Mobile, held its first service on Mother's Day of 2013.
In the beginning Mike and Gabriel, along with Shane Jones and James Powell traveled back and forth from Birmingham to Auburn on a weekly basis. Now, all three churches have full leadership teams made up of full-time, part-time, and volunteer leaders.
The churches have met in homes, hotels, schools, and even shared buildings with other churches resulting in uncommon meeting times and days. Throughout all the transition one common thread has been people finding Jesus, lives being changed and dedicated volunteers willing to do whatever it takes to share the great news of Jesus' love.
