The purpose of GAP is to support and enhance the educational experience at Gatewood Schools and to develop a closer connection between school and home by encouraging parental involvement and volunteerism.
GAP is a non-profit organization that exists to provide financial and volunteer support to Gatewood students, teachers, and staff.
All parents are automatically members of GAP, as membership dues are part of Gatewood tuition.
GAP is governed by five officers who are nominated and elected annually by fellow members.
