GC Scholars of Distinction

The Scholars of Distinction Program is designed to recognize two extraordinary Georgia College students whose academic performance epitomizes the mission of Georgia College. Students participating in this “scholarship program” will be judged in the categories of community engagement, academics, leadership and professionalism.

Each participant will be required to create an Impact Project using community engagement as the cornerstone and incorporating one of the Scholars of Distinction values (Academics, Leadership or Professionalism) into the project. The finalists will be required to implement their Impact Projects. The Scholars of Distinction winners will be required to continue with the implementation of their Impact Project and will receive a stipend and a number of accolades.

What many people knew as Mr. and Ms. Georgia College has been replaced by the Scholars of Distinction.
