GCC Student Activities Office

The Student Activities Office works to provide co-curricular programs to GCC’s students, including social events that allow students to get a chance to meet people and just have some fun, as well as workshops and educational programs for student development and cultural awareness. The office works closely with College Village, the residence life at Genesee Community

The office is also helps in coordinating larger college programs including New Student Orientation, Leadership Certificate Program workshops, the Spring Awards Banquet, and the May Commencement ceremony. Student Activities staff members serve as advisors to the Student Government and the Campus Activities Board. Through these student groups, the office hosts such events as Fall and Spring Fests, Info Fairs, Blood Drives, Up All Nite, Holiday Bazaar, Cool Kids, Lunchtime Lives, Breakfast with Santa, Dinner and a Movie, Pizza Parties, Open Mic Poetry Nights, and Week of Welcome programs, among many others! The Student Activities Office also oversees the 40+ clubs and organizations at the college, and hosts a monthly Lunch Bunch program that brings the clubs together for a roundtable discussion and opportunity to share updates.
