Gemfire Australian Shepherds

The goal of GemFire Aussies is to breed for health, brains, and beautiful, correct structure, coupled with a great temperament.

Genetic testing is done on all of our animals, as well as OFAs of hips and elbows, and yearly eye exams. All tests are completed on any breeding animal.

Breeding is performed with the goal of producing high quality animals. We attempt to combine the best attributes of each parent while reducing faults and adhering to the breed standard as closely as possible.

We consider our puppy buyers part of our family, and love to stay in contact and receive updates and pictures. Each puppy home is carefully evaluated to be sure that it is the best fit for both the puppy and their prospective family, and every puppy always has a home here with us, in the event that circumstances arise that their family can no longer keep them. It is our desire to never contribute to the shelter animal population.
