Genesis Village

Genesis Village is nearing the completion of Phase One of a complete $6 million renovation of its 170,000 square foot community. With 138 private apartments including studios, one and two bedrooms, we offer a unique and vital community for adults 55 and older that includes lavish amenities and personal services that are unmatched in Northwest Ohio.

Some of our many amenities include a brand new indoor pool, whirlpool, sauna, fitness center, convenient laundry rooms, library, media center with theater size screen, fireside cafe, game room and lush atrium with a cozy fireplace lounge. Genesis Village even has a chapel, prayer room and pastoral care available to its residents.

Our spacious and homey apartments include paid utilities (except phone), kitchenettes with refrigerator, Buckeye Cablevision, internet access, smoke detectors, sprinkler system and vertical blinds. At Genesis Village we pay attention to every detail offering you comfort, security and peace-of-mind.
Our over 10 acre campus with green space, beautiful woods and ravine offers plenty of opportunities for walking, bicycling or just enjoying the fresh air and sunshine. And our free Wellness Center offers basic services and health education to keep you feeling your best and enjoying your stay with us.

Home cooked meals are lovingly prepared from scratch by Chef Kameel Ansara of The Board Room fame. You will delight in lunch and dinner served buffet style complete with a fresh daily soup and salad bar, served in the well appointed dining room. A continental breakfast can be eaten in our Fireside Cafe or taken back to your apartment. Each meal is different and sure to please every taste and dietary need.

We are proud that Genesis Village is locally owned and operated by Jim Oedy and Dr. Nathan Hill. Jim is the onsite CEO and has more than 20 years establishing exceptional senior facilities in northwest Ohio. These were widely known for their dedicated staffs and a strong commitment to family. Both Jim and Dr. Hill are highly committed to giving back to the local community, especially senior organizations. That is why Genesis Village is partnering with area groups that have a record of excellent services to seniors and northwest Ohio.

With our Christian principles, we offer opportunities that serve the whole person including their wellness, spiritual and social needs. Pastoral care is available as well as a wide range of faith based services and activities right on campus.
