More about Georgetown Centre

The history of The Georgetown Centre begins with the opening
of The Yorkshire Inn Restaurant in 1970. Founded by Les George and his
son, Les George, Jr.; The Yorkshire Inn was well known in the Pittsburgh
area for quality food and service at reasonable prices. On Easter Day 1980
The Yorkshire Inn was destroyed by fire. In October of that same year
The Yorkshire Inn reopened at the site now occupied by Hoss’s Restaurant.

The Georgetown Centre and Georgetown Centre Catering were originally created, as an extension of the Yorkshire Inn Restaurant, to fill the need for a catering facility which had as it’s emphasis fine food and quality service in a beautiful and elegant setting. With it’s grand opening in the fall of 1990, The Georgetown Centre quickly established a reputation as the premier catering facility in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. Today, as the new millennium dawns, The Georgetown Centre is still committed to those same attributes that have made The Yorkshire Inn and Georgetown Centre Catering so successful for the past 30 years. Les George, Jr. and his staff of catering professionals are ready and able to meet all of your catering needs.
