Georgia State Student Center

The Student Center within the Division of Student Affairs is the hub of student activity at Georgia State University and a focal point for the social, recreational and cultural life of the diverse campus community. Comprised of two buildings, Student Center East (formerly the Student Center) and Student Center West (formerly the University Center), the center is home to many student services and opportunities for involvement and entertainment on campus.

A great place to hang out between classes, study and enjoy performances and events, the Student Center also offers food courts, vending services, the University Bookstore, Cinefest Film Theater, the Gallery Lounge art gallery, Digital Aquarium multimedia laboratory, ATM banking, computer stations, mobile device charging stations, student organization office space and numerous lounges and seating areas. It houses a wide range of student resources that promote student growth and development, enhance academic success, assist with university services and foster involvement in the university community.

The Student Center features more than 28,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including a 425-seat auditorium and spacious ballroom, that may be reserved through Event Management for meetings, seminars, conferences, speakers, receptions, banquets, concerts and other functions.

The Student Center is the venue for many of their events and activities, as well as those of the student organizations and services that make their home in the complex.
