Gethsemane Baptist Church

Our church is composed of believers who are bound together in Jesus Christ and who are seeking to serve him in and through this local church. The church is the greatest institution among men. It has a Mission that reaches to the end of the earth. It has a Message that if embraced can transform the life of any sinner. It has a Mandate from the Lord Jesus Christ who said,” go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you…” Matthew 28:19-20

It is the New Testament church that God uses to proclaim the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord. It is the church that God uses to offer His love and grace to a lost and dying world. The truth is, the most glorious place on earth, and the sweetest fellowship on earth is to be found in a New Testament church where God’s people gather, where His holy word is preached, where His music is sung, and where the blessed Holy Spirit is working.

May we dedicate ourselves anew to “grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ…” II Peter 3:18. Until our Lord comes may we love and labor together in the spirit of unity and fellowship… “looking for that Blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ.” Titus 2:13.
