So that means anyone can call them self a home inspector. I have been certified as a CPI(certified professional inspector) through NACHI. Not only did I have to complete classes, but 24 hrs of continuing education is required every year. Also, I had to send several inspections in to NACHI to be evaluated to ensure I am doing a good job.
