The Greater Hyannis Civic Association (GHCA) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization established to promote the welfare and advancement of the Greater Hyannis community, consisting of Hyannis, Hyannisport, and West Hyannisport. The GHCA works with Hyannis town agencies and Councilors to represent the interests of the citizens of Hyannis on matters which affect the neighborhoods, citizens, and general quality of life in Hyannis.
GHCA members particpate in local committees in the Town of Barnstable and Hyannis such as:

Barnstable Police Neighborhood Watch
Comprehensive Finance Advisory Committee
Main Street Homeless Initiative
Friends of Hyannis Library
GHCA is a key sponsor of great events such as:
Voices of The Village Task Forces

Hyannis 4th of July Bicycle Parade
Hyannis Harbor Lighting and Boat Parade
The GHCA Board of Directors meets at the Steamship Authority Terminal Building conference room on School Street in Hyannis at 7:00 PM on the second Tuesday of each month. This monthly meeting is open to all members and the public.
