JH Rood started making short films in 1991 with his dad's VHS camcorder. Some are lost, those that aren't are awaiting digitization. In 1994, Rood went off to college, discovered malt liquor, moved around the country, and became a pain in the ass. He got sober in 2013, and within a few months, began making films again! Inspired by the likes of Roger Corman, Larry Buchanan, Frank Henenlotter, Herschell Gordon Lewis, Edward D. Wood, jr., S.F. Brownrigg, Barry Mahon and others, He takes a DIY approach to film, and has no aspirations of ever being a professional filmmaker. This is just for fun!
