GHS Division of Prehospital Medicine

The Greenville Health System Department of Emergency Medicine, Division of Prehospital Medicine is dedicated to providing exceptional EMS educational experiences at an affordable cost to EMS providers from all delivery models in the region. Courses include primary education as well as continuing education and specialty courses that support EMS agencies and providers throughout the region, and beyond. Where applicable, courses are assigned academic credit and are transferable to two or four year colleges and universities.

Affordable education is available through traditional classroom and electronic (distance learning) means at times and locations convenient to students. Faculty and staff are student- centered, flexible and are chosen because of their expertise in their field of instruction. Educational support services are provided to facilitate the teaching/ learning process and to enhance the academic and personal development of the student, including an emphasis on articulation with area colleges and universities.
