Started in 1991, Gig Harbor Farmer’s Market has grown into a local tradition. This is the place to find seasonal locally-grown fruits and vegetables, custom blended herbs, fresh bread, locally produced cheese, wine and confections, along with a wide variety of arts and crafts produced right here in Gig Harbor!

Gig Harbor Farmer’s Market settled into their current location, in the former Peninsula Gardens building, in the fall of 2013. This venue features both indoor and outdoor vendor stalls allowing for comfortable climate controlled shopping, visiting, and music enjoyment in any weather.

The market opens the first weekend in April and runs every Saturday until Christmas. Each week, kids are invited to participate in the Farmer’s Market Passport Challenge, a game where kids pick up a passport booklet with scavenger hunt clues directing them to the vendor of the week who will give them a sticker for their passport. At then end of each passport cycle, kids will win prizes based on the number of stickers they’ve collected.

Other regular special events hosted by the market include visits with the Easter Bunny & Santa, Zucchini and Jack-O-Lantern Races, Tomato and Garlic Tasting, Trick-Or-Treating, Costume Parades, and more!
