Do not be fooled by the lighthearted name. Giggle Gals Boutique, located in Savage, MN, approaches its vision of style and couture with a mixture of passion and thoughtfulness. The diverse selection of clothing, jewelry, footwear and accessories offer a unique and edgy style not found in more oft-visited upscale stores.

As with most humble beginnings, the spark of inspiration for the Giggle Gals “brand” happened unexpectedly. In its beginnings Deanna began creating custom painted wine glasses as gifts for her friends. As her creations began to make their rounds to friends of friends and so on, she slowly began receiving and filling orders for specific events.

It was during this time that Deanna decided that her creations needed a name that embodied her personality and outlook on life. Drawing on the laughs and enjoyment with which her gifts were typically received, “Giggle Gals” was born.

Soon, the custom painted glasses grew into a viable and sustainable business. As opposed to simply working out of home and trying to keep a small inventory of glasses selling at several local businesses, Deanna began to formulate a plan to open up a shop of her own.

To find a business partner, Deanna had to look no further than her mother, Susan. Susan was no stranger to a small business enterprise. She and her husband had owned a handful of businesses over the years, including a custom silk-screening business in Naples, Florida.

With a business plan in place, and a small location picked out in their hometown Prior Lake, the enterprising women opened the doors of the first Giggle Gals shop in 2007.

When it comes to an eye for shaping upcoming trends and styles, the apple certainly does not fall far from the tree. Both ladies have a unique taste that allows them to maintain an innovative selection of inventory. Beautiful hand-chosen apparel, jewelry, scarves and boots have a dramatic edginess to them, while creating a modern chic.

Giggle Gals caters to a diverse demographic because of the close nature of their own relationship. A creative flare and eye for fashion in combination with a close-knit mother/daughter bond allow Deanna and Susan to seamlessly merge their tastes and choices across generations.

For six wonderful years the shop has grown and flourished. Their clientele has extended far beyond the Prior Lake area. Many loyal shoppers regularly travel from Eden Prairie, Minnetonka and Edina for the latest Giggle Gals merchandise.
