Gillmore Elementary School

Gillmore Elementary School is committed to providing every student an effective, challenging and engaging education in a safe learning environment which is centered around students, directed by teachers, and supported by parents and the community to ensure that all students are either college or career ready.

Joe M. Gillmore Elementary School was founded in 1962. Joe M. Gillmore served as principal for one year. Mr. Albert Humber was the first Principal to serve on campus full time. Following him, we had Melvin Joiner, Wanda Roberts, and currently serving Gillmore as Principal, we have Shannon Odom.
