Gio’s Paw Spa is set for an April 1st Grand Opening for owner and groomer Giovanna (Nardi) Splawn. The Full-service Pet Salon will be conveniently located at 1217 Malvern Avenue, Suite C (between Peter’s Paints and Café 1217). Splawn is a skilled professional, earning her Dog Grooming Certification in Colorado while employed at Petco’s Grooming Salon in Fort Collins. She continued her training completing courses in Grooming Safety, Canine Behavior, Pet First Aide, and became one of the only Certified Cat Groomers in the area. She is also a proud member of the National Dog Groomer’s Association, one of only a hand full in Arkansas. She has practiced her trade for more than eight years before deciding to open her own shop to specialize in keeping pets healthy, happy, and beautiful. Splawn believes that “regular grooming is essential to a healthy pet “ and will offer a clean and safe environment for the comfort of her clients. Splawn makes safety the top priority using calm, gentle, low-stress handling techniques. She is available for consultations to discuss your pet’s grooming needs and has helpful products for sale to ensure your pet looks great in between groomings. Besides regular bathing and grooming, Gio’s Paw Spa will offer a number of specialized packages and products to pamper your pet regardless of breed or age.
