Start the fun of Girl Scouting today: If you know a girl in grades K-12 who loves science, art, sports, or just telling stories, she’s ready to be a Girl Scout! A year with Girl Scouts will be filled with new friends, tons of fun and more “wow” moments than you ever imagined. Girl Scouting inspires girls to look forward to what they're going to do today, tomorrow, and even ten years from now, by helping them realize that they can be anything they want to be. Some of the amazing things Girl Scouts do include turning ordinary household items into robots, convincing the mayor to install a swing for special-needs children in the park or traveling around the world. You don't have to join a troop to be a Girl Scout. There are many short-term pathways that make Girl Scouting possible for even the busiest girl.

Be a role model for girls: Girl Scouting needs adult volunteers to step up and lead troops and program activities for thousands of girls who want to be Girl Scouts but don't have adult leadership to run their activities. Make a difference and sign up to be a Girl Scout volunteer today. Volunteering with Girl Scouts is easy and fun, and both men and women over 18 are welcome to be volunteers. In addition to positions working with the girls, Girl Scouts also has volunteer positions behind-the-scenes helping with paperwork, chairing events, and other administrative duties. Girl Scout volunteers go places and gain marketable skills to boost their resumes. But the most rewarding gift as a Girl Scout volunteer is you can help show girls anything is possible in their future!
