More about Glad Wags Service Dogs

Glad Wags Inc.

Glad Wags Inc. is a non-profit arm of Marj the Dog Trainer Dog Obedience School. Glad Wags trains Service Dogs for clients with PTSD, Autism, Narcolepsy, Diabetes and other medical conditions, as well as training them as Hearing Dogs, Medical Alert Dogs, and Level 5 Service Dogs for wheelchair bound clientele. Additionally, Glad Wags has a large working Therapy Dog group that routinely visits various facilities in Tulsa and surrounding area. Glad Wags selects dogs to train as service dogs from local animal shelters and rescue groups, and we are very proud of the fact that dogs that have been thrown away by someone now become someone else’s way to independence!

About Us
********

Glad Wags dog training is a program for lifelong learning that helps you facilitate a richer life with your dog. At Glad Wags, we think that having a dog should never be a burden, but instead an opportunity to discover the true potential of the animal-human bond in light of current applied animal behavior science.

Dogs learn from a mixture of enforcing boundaries on unwanted behaviors and rewarding desired behaviors, and our training uses both for a well-rounded approach.

We believe that all dogs have a desire to work and accomplish something with their lives, just as people do. This means that amazing things can be accomplished when you and your dog work as a team!

We offer:

- Beginning obedience - establishes firm fundamentals, addresses any problem behavior and sets up a dog for a truly solid foundation with their human mom/dad

Mondays at 6pm and 8pm
Tuesdays at 7pm
Saturday at 10am and 11am

- Advanced obedience - polishes life-long commands for safety and manageability, and introduces several advanced skills such as the beginnings of agility and tracking

Mondays at 7pm
Tuesdays at 6pm
Saturdays at 12pm

- Supernova - for those who discover they love working with their dogs, we begin advanced problem-solving, rally obedience, agility, and tracking.

Tuesdays at 8pm (invitation only)

Classes fill quickly and class size is capped at 8 students!
