I have a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and I am currently licensed as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Montana. Due to my time working at a community mental health center I have experience working with diverse clients experiencing a wide range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, PTSD, domestic violence, bipolar, pregnancy loss, women's issues, stage of life issues, suicide ideation and behaviors, and crisis intervention.

I understand the rural population and the unique challenges many face in seeking mental health care due to isolation, stigmas, and financial concerns. I like a straight forward, down to earth approach in working with my clients and I find they respond well to this approach.

I have experience in crisis intervention. A crisis can look different for each individual and may include suicide ideation and behaviors, being a victim of domestic violence, a financial crisis, dealing with a terminal illness, leaving home for the first time, or any other situation in which the individual is overwhelmed emotionally and cannot use their problem solving and coping skills.Crisis intervention helps ensure safety, provides emotional support,and promotes stability.

In order to meet the demand for mental health care in Eastern Montana I have decided to offer online counseling services. This service is 100% secure and confidential. This service will benefit the isolated, rural families/individual in Eastern Montana who simply cannot make the drive to Miles City on a regular basis. However, this service is not limited to rural individuals as any person can elect to receive counseling in the privacy of their home or any other place he or she may be located.

The client's welfare, especially confidentiality and privacy, is most important in the counseling relationship and I strive to ensure such is respected.
