Students are encouraged to seek assistance from guidance counselors with:
Academic planning. Academic problems. Career planning.College planning.
Social, personal and emotional problems, including family conflicts, teacher conflicts, problem with friends, drugs or other problems of student concern.
Students who are considering continuing their education after high school should make this fact known to their guidance counselors.
Also, such students should request an appointment with their guidance counselors to review the availability of schools and scholarship assistance so that plans for the future can be made early in the high school career. Students who are experiencing difficulty in academic or shop work should have their parent or guardian contact the Guidance Department for the purpose of investigating the situation. Special programs and special help are available to assist students in performing their daily schoolwork.
