GLU Factory TLC

We are a SYSTEM for helping families of prisoners. We operate a transitional living center as a part of this system.

We operate in an open and inviting environment designed to be helpful to a broad range of clients. Our focus is families or prisoners and the particular problems that confront them before and after the release of the prisoner.

We work closely, not just with the "Returning Citizen" but also with the family and coach them through the pitfalls that await them.

We provide an environment which provides a diverse range of therapeutic, residential, and resource programs that allow the returning citizen to focus on recovery while preparing for transition to the community. It is within this four-month period that the client and treatment staff prepare a service implementation plan to address employment, education, vocational training, housing, medical, and other social needs; address coping skills in a supportive environment; meet peer support groups; engage in relapse prevention counseling and education; and identify coordinated services from community resources.

We have 8 rooms, 4 of which have bunk beds in them. There are 4 bathrooms. Currently, space is available for 12 men. This is a large, comfortable house with 2 living areas and a large dining/group room. There is a house manager on-site and we are in the process of installing a security system.

We also have offices located in the Matt 25 center to allow us to provide counseling/coaching in a secure and professional environment and also utilize the group rooms for classes and family groups.
