Goal Line Counseling

Pam brings a scrappy, get-in-there-and-get-the-job done attitude to the college search process. She prides herself on the rapport she is able to develop with young people and her ability to help each student recognize their own interests and strengths. Pam truly understands that each student brings their own unique blend of skills and passions to the college admission process and is able to leverage that enthusiasm into the best college choice for each student.

In addition to academic counseling, Pam has a special interest in working with student athletes. She has been a key member of several athletic boards, including high-school rugby, wrestling and football programs. Her interest in athletic recruiting began while helping her older son through the recruitment process for college wrestling. Working with several Ivy League schools, she developed a particular interest in working with high-school athletes who are interested in pursuing college athletics. Her knowledge and expertise were further enhanced while managing her second son through the DI football recruiting cycle. She played an integral role in helping secure a full athletic football scholarship to a PAC-12 school, the first Redwood High school student to ever receive such an honor straight out of high school.

Pam is interested in working with students of all backgrounds, interests and abilities. She has experience working with special needs students and has worked in a public-private school that specializes in students on the autistic sprectrum. She is comfortable with students of all backgrounds and academic abilities and is able to maximize all resources available to each particular students.

Pam received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern University in Mathematics and her certificate in College Admissions and Counseling from UCLA.
