Goat Hill Fair

I am a native Californian, born and raised in Santa Clara county. I had the joy of being the second out of five children. I had a blessed childhood. which I am very grateful. As an adult, I have lived in Colorado, Oregon and several places in California. Each “home” gifted me with cherished friendships. My greatest gifts, are my two children, Melissa and Geoffrey. They both live in Oregon and have inherited mom’s creative genes!

Let’s just say that I am known for being crazy creative!! My mind never seems to take a vacation! Thank God that I have been able to use this “gift” to create unique products and venues. As a designer, I have always aspired to create homes that reflect the owners personalities. I love adding that touch of whimsy to every room I design. In design, I love to also mix an antique with new items. Each antique tells a story and makes your room special. No cookie cutter design for me!

I had the awesome opportunity to own a store, Garofalo’s Interiors and Antiques, in downtown Campbell for several years. As the recession became obvious, I closed my store to pursue my design career. I have missed my “friends” who made Garofalo’s a destination.

The last several years I worked as a Design Consultant for Williams Somona Home at Stanford. A year ago , I was given the news of our division was closing in January 2011 . I knew that this was the “opportunity” to create an antique and artisan fair totally unique to the bay area. I had done a similar show while living in Colorado, which was highly successful. For years many of my friends have been desiring a fun, imaginative venue to purchase antiques and one-of-a-kind treasures. Goat Hill not only provides the opportunity to find that special treasure but enjoy a day in a absolutely beautiful setting.
