Golden Oldies Cat Rescue

Golden Oldies Cat Rescue was founded by a small group of cat lovers committed to saving lives. We believe that every life has value, even cats who are entering -- or who are already in -- their "golden years."

Our mission is to re-home older cats in Monterey County whose guardians can no longer care for them, or those who are at risk in local shelters. We place these cats in temporary foster homes and then find permanent loving homes for them, enriching the lives of both the cats and their new humans.

We are 100 percent volunteer-run and 100 percent foster-based.

We were founded in June 2016.
