Goldfinch Farm CSA

Jon and Beth Weaver-Kreider own and operate Goldfinch Farm, near Wrightsville, York County, Pa. We grow a wide variety of vegetables following organic standards, although we have chosen not to be certified.

Our produce is sold through our CSA (community supported agriculture) in which customers become members of the farm for the season by joining and paying at the beginning of the season, and then coming to the farm or to our Lancaster pick-up site each week to receive their share of vegetables.

The season runs for 20 weeks from mid-June through early November.

There are typically 8-12 different items in the share each week, with the contents varying according to what is in season. CSA members can also pick their own flowers and take home beautiful bouquets.

At Goldfinch Farm, you can also buy organic and sustainably-raised meats, eggs, honey and cheese from other local farms, as well as fair trade chocolate.

Shareholders can pick up their veggies at the farm on Mondays or Thursdays from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

In Lancaster, pickup is at the Friends Meetinghouse just off of Columbia Ave. on Tuesdays from 3 to 6.
