Good Shepherd Episcopal Church - Maui

At the invitation of Hawaii Alii, King Kamehameha IV and Queen Emma, we have worshipped at the corner of Church and Main Streets in Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii since our founding days.

We are a diverse Christian ohana (family) comprised of many races including Caucasians, Chinese, Filipinos, Hawaiians, Hispanics, Japanese, and a sprinkling of others. We have found our unity in the waters of baptism and in sharing at the table that the Lord spreads before us each week. The flags which hang in the church celebrate and give thanks for all of us.

You are invited to join us in worship, and in obedience to our Lord's command to love and serve others in Jesus' name. Here you will be able to participate in one of the many ministries including music, outreach, stewardship, youth, and worship.

Good Shepherd is recognized as a Jubilee Ministry by the National Episcopal Church. Our community outreach programs include feeding the hungry every Sunday through its Ka Ohana Kitchen; the Queen Emma Athletic club; and its Filipino folk dance troupe.

Good Shepherd’s music ministry includes Senior Choir, Junior Choir, the Praise and Worship Band, and the Bell Choir.

Good Shepherd’s youth ministry is deemed as one of the best in the Episcopal Diocese of Hawaii, with many of its youth having participated in Diocesan and national conferences. The Sunday School program brings the youth together to learn the lessons and the Gospel.
