GOULD BEEF

Grass/Grain finished Beef, raised locally in Geneseo, IL. All beef is processed at Reason's Meats in Buffalo Prairie, IL.
Gould Beef consists of a small herd of Angus cows. All calfs from the cow herd are raised and Finished on the farm. Plans for adding more females to the herd are in the works for 2016, with a goal to eventually supply 100% of the feeder cattle finished from the herds calf crop.

*Although all of my cattle are raised with out the use of Implants (hormones/growth promotants), I would like it to be known that I do not feel using implants in cattle is in ANY way harmful to the consumer, or the animal. I encourage everyone to follow the link, and educate yourself on this cattle feeding practice before you are are quick to judge the producers that do use it.
