Grace & Form

Those close to me know how passionate I am about art and how much I love to share it with others. My shop is a way to connect and share with others that same passion! My love of art started as early as I can remember. I loved to watch my father paint abstract artwork in our kitchen when I was a little girl. It is what inspired me as a young artist.

When creating my artwork, I enjoy using oil paints, oil pastels, graphite pencil, and charcoal. These materials are my favorite to use and I find myself always gravitating to them to make my pieces.

I start my process by taking photos of things I find beautiful and/ or interesting. I also record my ideas in sketch books. When it comes to making custom portraits, I prefer to work from a photo. I first start by making a grid on my drawing paper and on a good quality copy of my photo reference, so I can focus more of my time on perfecting the details of the photograph. Beauty is in the details!
