In 1890, thirteen people met in the borough of Royersford; the purpose, to found a Lutheran Church. With the help of two older sister congregations, Augustus Lutheran in Trappe and Zion Lutheran in Spring City, the first organizational meeting was held. The first church council met in April, 1891, and through its many peaks and valleys of forming a new church, the present church building was consecrated to the Glory of God in 1902.
