Grace Faith Bible Study

We believe that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God that was written for us so that we might know the will of God and live by it. We believe that the Word is so important that we study it in detail. We study it from the original languages that it was written in, and we consider the historical and contextual circumstances of the Scriptures. We categorize Biblical information into doctrines to make it easy to understand and apply in your daily walk. We train believers in the mechanics of how to live the Christian life as God has defined in the Bible.

We do this to build one another up in an environment of love until we all attain to spiritual maturity.

"And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ. As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love."

Beliefs:
* We believe that all men sinned in Adam and are in need of saving from eternal condemnation (Rom 3:23; 5:12-14; 1 Cor 15:21,22).

* We believe that salvation comes through faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ (John 3:16; Rom 1:16; 5:12-21; Eph 2:8,9). We believe that Gospel at its core is defined as the substitutionary death of Christ on the cross, His burial and His resurrection as they fulfill all related prophecy from the Scriptures (1 Cor 15:1-4). This provides the payment for sin (Rom 6:23) and eternal life for all who believe (John 3:16).

* We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God (and therefore inerrant) and needs to be studied and applied by the Christian in order to abide in God's will and advance to spiritual maturity (Eph 4:11-16; 2 Tim 3:16,17; Heb 4:12).
