Grace Kate Photography

Grace Kate Photography is the husband and wife photography team of Josh and Renee Blackstone. Our photographic journey started in college as we both immersed ourselves in black and white photography at the University of Maine at Farmington as we filled out electives in our separate majors. Even though we went on to complete our degrees, we both came away with a deep appreciation and fondness for the photographic creative process and for developing technical finesse in the darkroom.

As we began our family, we started applying that skill and passion to our personal photos of our two little girls and truly fell in love with family photography and all that goes with it. Even though we both hold full-time jobs outside of photography (Josh is a Pastor and Renee is a Teacher) we wanted to take this love of photos and make it part of our daily lives. Since capturing our daughters' personalities as well as the daily laughter and joy that they bring to our lives inspires us so much, our business is named for them... Addie (Grace) and Haleigh (Kate).

Photos are all about telling a story in a still image, whether life and love or the beauty around you, we want to help you capture that story and share it. We cover a broad range of photographic services, including: senior/school pictures, professional/portfolio work, engagements, weddings, maternity, newborns and families.
