More about Gracemont Manor

Gracemont Manor was built in 1836 by William Stone. The house was for many years the home of Benjamin F. Heard. Extensively remodeled from time to time and the beautiful grillwork came from the old Heard Bank Building that was demolished in 1803. The last cabinet meeting of the of the Confederacy was held in the Heard Building.

Gracemont Manor is an exquisite southern setting for your wedding or special event. Situated on five acres of land. You will enjoy beautiful photo opportunities with our old barns, cottages, horse paddocks, and gardens. Our gardens feature mature azaleas, pecan, magnolia, etc.

Gracemont features several settings for your ceremony. We offer the front porch steps and front yard, side garden with beautiful arch and columns, and side pecan grove as the perfect ceremony setting. The inside of the house features beautiful connecting parlors for your inside experience. We also offer four beautifully furnished sleeping rooms.
