Gracie United Baton Rouge

Gracie United is Baton Rouge's premiere facility for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, MMA, boxing/kickboxing, wrestling, and strength and conditioning. Whether your goal is to stay fit or take yourself to another level in athleticism, GU-BR has what you need. We offer classes for beginners, advanced athletes, adults, and children alike. Lead by Rafael Ellwanger, a world champion, and black belt under Carlos Gracie Jr., our technique and instruction stems straight from the source.

Our environment welcomes all from those simply wanting to learn self-defense to those with aspirations for high level competition in grappling/mixed martial arts alike.

Each instructor in our facility is an expert within their respective field having been a successful athlete or currently competing in said field. With this you will have the highest level instruction possible from someone who will buy into your goals and work with you to achieve them. Visitors will feel welcome, comfortable, and motivated by our instructors and fellow athletes. Despite your individual goals, all GU-BR athletes are treated as athletes of the highest level so as to get the attention, motivation, and respect that many personal trainers/competitors do not value. GU-BR is a team before anything and we all work together to push each other and take ourselves to the next level physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

All new athletes will get one month free and discounted rates for referring friends/family and signing up for extended periods of time in advance. All of this coupled with an already lower rate than any competitor makes GU-BR an easy decision for your self defense, fitness, or competition needs.
