Gracie’s (The Grace Miller)

Nestled in the heart of historic downtown Bastrop, Gracie’s, as it’s known to locals, is known, not just for its fantastic food, but also its quaint charm and casual atmosphere. Locally owned and operated by Brenda Bush, The Grace Miller is a truly unique gem that is always bustling with good times and good eats. This is no chain restaurant and prides itself on its small-town atmosphere and southern hospitality.

The Grace Miller Restaurant, or Gracie’s, as it’s known by the locals, opened its doors in April 2006. Since that time The Grace Miller Restaurant has won 27 awards in the “Best of Bastrop County,” including Best Chicken-Fried Steak, Best Caterer, Best Seafood and Best Home Cooking, among others.

When the weather warms up you can find bands playing Friday and Saturday nights on the recently renovated and covered Backyard Patio.

In addition, The Grace Miller serves up warm and hearty lunch specials Monday through Friday.
