Graff History

In 1952, Alvin V. Graff started a business called Graff Chevrolet. This business is located at 1405 E Main St., in Grand Prairie, Texas. The business started out small with 50-60 employees. Graff Chevrolet had a showroom, accounting office, parts and service departments. In 1956, Mr. Graff added a body shop located behind the Service Department.

In 1981, Mr. Graff had his son, Stan Graff, come up from San Antonio to help with the family business. Sometime later Stan took over as CEO of Graff Chevrolet. As the business prospered, expansion was needed. Graff then acquired all four corners of E Main St and 14th St.

In April 1997, Graff Chevrolet lost it's founder Alvin V. Graff. Al Graff had a theory, "You Get Back What You Give." Stan carries the same thoughts of his father by keeping Graff Chevrolet a friendly, caring place for it's customers and employees.

Graff Chevrolet is and will always be a family business. Stan will pass this dealership to his son someday as his father did to him.
