My name is Mackenzie Miller, and I am the owner of Grand Lake Paws and Claws. I started my business out of my home in May of 2015 among family and friends. Slowly but surely, my business began to take off, and my dream of working with animals is becoming reality! I am a graduate of Wright State University Lake Campus, where I received my degree in Business Management. In the Fall of 2017, I will be attending Diamond Cut Grooming School to further my grooming education and expand my services. I will also be completing certification programs to become both a certified Veterinary Assistant and a certified dog trainer. My services currently include the following: day care/pet sitting, exercise (running, walking, swimming, play sessions, trail walking/running, and more based on your dog or cat's exercise needs), boarding (overnight options include crate/kennel, gated in a certain area, or free to roam depending on your dog or cat's normal at-home routine, and grooming (nail cut, anal gland expression, ear flush, teeth brush, eye cleanse, bath, brush, light scissor trims, defurminating). Our five year goal is to move locations so I can begin expanding my business to include adoption services as I will be following my dream of rescuing abused, stray, neglected, or endangered animals, getting them back to normal, and getting them ready for adoption. Until my website is up and running, please message me on this page or call/text me at 567-204-7712 to set up an appointment!
