The primary functions of Human Resources include:
- Posting of current job vacancies
- Processing of employment applications
- Hiring of staff including classified, certified, substitutes and temporary staff
- Orientation of new hires
- Processing new hire documents
- Background checks for new hires and district volunteers
- Employment contracts and work agreements
- Photo ID badges for district employees
- Employee Handbook
- Maintain personnel records
- FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act) request
- District student transfers
- Student Teacher placements
- Certified employee certification issues
- Staff development
