Great Ocean Road Coffee Roasters

Many years ago, we sat with a friend outside of his home and started roasting green coffee beans in a popcorn maker. Other than just getting excited about a new process, it surprised us to experience fresh coffee like we never had before! It actually ruined us for life when it came to that “first cup” in the morning. We realized that fresh-roasted coffee is far better than old stale coffee – and we are by no means snobs.

Our name “Great Ocean Road” comes from a popular landmark in Victoria, Australia. Sim (short for Simone) is from there and we were married on a beach just by this road around 12 years ago. Suffice to say, we have been cultured in two countries, and we both have been raised near the coast, and for the last 10 years we have enjoyed the seacoast life in a small town such as Dover, NH.
