Greater Miami Youth for Christ KIX

Stacy Morales started KIX February 1, 1993 to share the gospel with children and youth in Homestead. Since 1993, the KIX clubs have provided an ecumenical approach to humanitarian programs for urban young people. The communities served in are high crime, high poverty area. The KIX programs are designed to reach under served, at-risk students in the neighborhood. Since KIX began, it has provided a safe, loving, place for young people to come after school.

The elementary after-school program offers fun, engaging, and enriching activities for the participants including literacy and homework assistance physical fitness, social skill development, as well as character lessons using God’s Word.

The focus of our teen program is to see young people empowered to make good, moral decisions so they can be healthy, productive members of our community. Our teen program includes study hall, skills classes, book club, a football league, and Friday Night Live outreach.

Our desire is to build Christian character as we offer hope, help, and wholeness to young lives.
