Greater Rain Community Church

Greater Rain Community Church is a Pentecostal, Full Gospel, open/interdenominational Church that is located at 715 Elizaville Avenue, Flemingsburg, Kentucky right beside the Flemingsburg Gazette.

Our Service Times are:
Sunday @ 3 PM
Wednesday @ 7 PM
Friday @ 7 PM

For the CHILDREN (12 and under), we have CHILDREN'S CHURCH during the whole service on Sunday and during the preaching on Wednesdays.
Friday Night's Service is open to everyone but is predominantly focused around the Youth and often led by the Youth Pastor and some of the young people.

The Ministry of word and music is headed up by Greater Rain Ministries which also travels.

The services are lively (we are lively stones), the gifts of the Spirit are welcomed to be used (they ARE for today), the style of praise & worship is not confined to just one style (it is a mixture of hymnals, worship music, appalachia or Holy Ghost music as it is often called, country-style gospel, and southern/traditional gospel style...we even have Bro Denny who lines from time to time.)

The place is full of the LOVE OF JESUS! The Congregation is warming, welcoming, kind, compassionate, and will treat you wonderfully.

If you don't like "Church as USUAL" -- THIS is the place to go!! We're not "contemporary" (we don't throw the Truth of God's Word out the door), but it is certainly not dead (unless you're 3 or under, you're most likely not going to want to fall asleep). GRCC is hip, it's vibrant, it's real, it's anointed, and it's Spirit-Driven. IF you have grown tired of 2 songs, 20 minute lectures, go home, repeat... then it's time to check out a place that is on FIRE for the Lord!

If you are not a Christian (or as some would say, "I believe in God.. but I don't do all that stuff") I challenge you to come check out Greater Rain. You may not fit in at some places, but at GRCC it is a melting pot for all of God's People to fit in. It is also a place where the lost are found!! The LOVE of Jesus will fill that place and, if you are lost, the Holy Spirit will tug at you and you will KNOW that he is real, and that he loves you!

If you are out there and looking for a Church, I implore you, don't pass up this opportunity! GRCC started with a core of 5 folks in a town of 3,200 back at the end of JUNE 2011. In 2 and a half years, the Lord has given a great increase and now we are averaging 40-60 folks. We are ready to spread the word and get the invitation out to YOU! You don't have to drive by that place and wonder what it is like any more, now YOU are invited to come and check things out. The first time you come, you will be our very special guests of Honor. If you come back, you're gonna be treated like family!!

Lastly, I know that this area has been known for a lot of church hurts and emotional abuse. I want you to know that God has placed GRCC as a beacon of light in the community because it is a place of healing and restoration. Every church hurt, every past issue, every feeling of abandonment, every emotional wound can be healed in the presence of our Lord! We have seen, in times past, the Lord take the hurt and broken and begin to heal, mend, and restore them. My friend, if you have been afraid of going to church because of past hurts... this is the place to be.. this is where the healing begins!!

It doesn't matter who you are, where you are from, where you have been, or what you have done. YOU matter to GOD.. and YOU matter to US!
