Green Thumb Water Gardens

Green Thumb started in Little Rock at the corner of Asher and Fair Park in 1959 by Adkins Phelps Seed Company. A few years later Bill Olinghouse, a boat builder, purchased the garden center and ran it till 1974.

In February 1974 Jerry and Juanita Gibson purchased the nursery. They built up the nursery business to the point a new larger garden center was built on 10 acres in west Little Rock. This location stayed for 20 years when we moved again to our present location 10 minutes west of Little Rock.

The new location now is home to a water garden center exclusively. Now home to the largest exclusive water garden center in Arkansas, Green Thumb carries a full line of equipment and supplies for any water feature.
