Greenbrier Mountain Lodge

Our personal six bedroom mountain escape is the perfect place for special occasions such as a anniversary, birthday, office meeting or wedding. We have a large outdoor deck with the incredible Greenbrier Mountain in the background for your wedding ceremony or pictures. We have a private special event coordinator that will help plan your occasion. She knows all the good local florist, caterers, salons for hair and nails (or have the salon come to our property) and can decorate elegantly or casually for any theme. We also have a 4 bedroom (sleeps 10) lodge for extra guests that we can direct you to that is in the same neighborhood.
The main house features 5 bedrooms, 4 kings with in suite baths, one with two queens; home theater and full game room with pool table and multicade game (with 60 games on it); three gas fireplaces; deluxe kitchen with stainless steel KitchenAid appliances, large pantry room, two double stainless sinks, and granite countertops; loft/library area fully equipped with games and over 500 books; two spacious levels of decking with fantastic views of the National Park, especially Greenbrier Mountain; hot tub; flat screen TVs throughout with DISH Network; WiFi. Separate beautiful honeymoon studio apartment has small kitchenette, king size iron bed (very upscale), private deck and hot tub with amazing views.

Built on five acres of hardwood forest, the property faces east for fabulous sunrises and moon rises over the mountains. All you can really see are mountains and trees in the summer; when the leaves fall, you can see several vistas of the Little Pigeon River sparkling below. You can always hear the river, hence the name of this neighborhood Riversong. Greenbrier Mountain Lodge is at the end of a private road and gated, but offers parking for 20 cars. The private road is the perfect short walk for after dinner or after a nap! A more ambitious walk would take you down to the river and back up. Occasionally a car may pass you. The location is great because although it feels as though you're really out in the mountains, you're only 10-15 minutes from all the activity and fun of Gatlinburg, and a half hour to Pigeon Forge, the shopping outlet malls, and Dollywood. Plus, it's back roads to any of those destinations, meaning no sitting in traffic, which can be a big deal around here during busy times! Highway 321 is two miles from us here and connects to Gatlinburg to the west and to I-40 to the east.

Two miles from here is also the Greenbrier entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, a somewhat undiscovered and beautiful playground featuring five miles of road for walking and biking, numerous hiking trails, and river for swimming, tubing, fishing, painting! Also close by is the Arts and Crafts Community, an 11-mile loop of local artisans and galleries with unique shopping opportunities.

This home is very comfortable, designed for family and friend reunions and retreats. There are plenty of spaces to relax alone, or for smaller groups to chat. Of course, everyone likes to hang out in the kitchen, and this kitchen is true to that mission! Except when you choose to grill out, then you might find all the rocking chairs full.

You cross a bridge over the river to enter the subdivision -- we always sigh and are grateful to be returning to our sanctuary. The subdivision has a 24 hour surveillance camera on all vehicles coming and going for your security. Greenbrier Mountain Lodge has a full ADT security system for your added comfort.
