Greene Acres Farm

Hi Folks! We are in our first full year of our fledgling farming adventures on Greene Acres Farm and loving every minute of it! Our goal and committment has and always will be to offer fresh produce and poultry products that are organically grown and GMO free. We feel, like so many others do, that the GMO's that are being forced into our food chain without choice, are not healthy for our bodies and therefore we will always be very adament about our quality standards in regards to keeping our products free from them. Take for instance our poultry feeds, we only buy them from a farm that only produces GMO Free feed's. This farm happens to be 2.5 hours away from Waymart but we do not mind making the trip every other month because it allows our birds to grow as nature intended.

The seed stock for produce is always organic and we only fertilize plants using either worm compost tea or with cow, horse, chicken or rabbit manure. We also never use any pesticides for pest control but rather we use natural alternatives for controlling the pesky little critters.

As for our egg layers and broiler chickens, we only feed them GMO free feed and they are also free range year round except for maybe in deep winter when the layers do not have any interest in going outside. The broilers also come from GMO free parent stock and they do not recieve any vacinations as chicks. We feel they do not need them becuase most vacinations are only intended to fight illness or infections that are the result of being over crowded in confinement, poor air quality and unsanitary conditions. Since all our broilers are raised on pasture they having plenty of fresh air, clean water supply and fresh grass everyday.

So we hope you will come and try some of our produce or poulty. We are cetain you will love it and you will also be able to share in the satisfaction of enjoying the healthiest food possible and without supporting the global chemical companies that are trying to take over our worlds food supply.
