Greenleaf Center is a acute care behavioral health and substance abuse hospital located in Valdosta, Georgia. Greenleaf offers a holistic approach to healing Mind, Body, and Spirit.

We provide a safe, secure environment and access to a complete range of behavioral health and substance abuse services. Our staff includes Board Certified Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Nurses, Licensed Therapists, and others who are dedicated to your new beginning.

Our Intake Department is available 7 days per week, 24 hours a day, 365 days per year for free assessments. Intake Coordinators can be reached at (800) 247-2747.

Suicidal thoughts, threats and attempts

Delusional thinking/Hallucinations
Extreme anger and/or thoughts

Substance Abuse

Our substance abuse treatments include a detoxification program (average stay is 3 -5 days) and a 30-day rehabilitation program.

We also work closely with military personnel who are suffering from a variety of psychological and substance abuse issues, including PTSD. We have treated hundreds of military members from around the Southeast, and because Moody Air Force Base is close by, we can house house family members of the particular military member to help make their treatment that much more successful.

Our adolescent unit accepts patients between the ages of 12 - 17 and is intended for individuals who are a danger to themselves and others and require intense observation and stabilization. The basis of our program is to incorporate individual, group and family therapy while each adolescent works through specific treatment goals. Families are encouraged to participate as much as possible with treatment. Our belief is that each client is part of a family system and all within that system should have a part in the recovery process.

Greenleaf Center also has an Outpatient facility that has several levels of treatment, including a Partial Hospitalization Program and Intensive Outpatient Program. We also offer individual, marital, and family counseling, Employee Assistance Programs, State mandated DUI programs, and medication management.

Our Youth Focus (ages 5 -12) and Teen Focus (13-17) are outpatient programs designed to treat children and adolescents what are having emotional and behavioral issues. The purpose of the programs is to help children recognize strengths, maximize potential, and return to an appropriate level of functioning.
