Greenon High School is a public high school in Springfield, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Greenon Local School District. Greenon High School has been designated as excellent as evidenced by performance on state achievement tests. Attendance rate during the 2011 school year was 94.8% compared to the state average of 90.6%. The school's official colors are black and white; however silver and red often appear as accents. The school mascot is the Knight. The school's major rivals include the Shawnee Braves of Springfield, Ohio, the Kenton Ridge Cougars, and the Graham Falcons. Greenon High School is a member of the Central Buckeye Conference (CBC), which is divided into two divisions: The Kenton Trail which includes Bellefontaine, Stebbins, Shawnee, Tecumseh, Tippecanoe, and Kenton Ridge and The Mad River Division which includes Benjamin Logan, Graham, Greenon, Urbana, Northwestern, and Indian Lake.
