Greensboro Science Center

The Greensboro Science Center is a premier family destination in North Carolina offering three great attractions in one destination: A hands-on Science Museum (featuring a Dinosaur Gallery, HealthQuest, Extreme Weather Gallery, Herpetarium, Kids' Alley and a touch lab), Animal Discovery Zoological Park (featuring tigers, gibbons, wallabies, meerkats, lemurs, tortoises, a red panda and many other unique animals) and a state-of-the-art OmniSphere Dome Theater (featuring 3D and full-dome shows). On June 29, 2013, the Center opened the new Carolina SciQuarium, the first inland aquarium in North Carolina (featuring sharks, penguins, stingrays, otters, eels, a fishing cat, a host of different fish and many more aquatic species) making the Greensboro Science Center the only attraction in the state to offer a science museum, zoo, aquarium and a high-tech planetarium all in one destination.

Zoo hours: 10 am to 4 pm
