I'm the Smith County Extension Agent in horticulture for the Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Service in Tyler, Texas. This page is designed to educate and enlighten folks about Southern gardening, nature, and the environment. I am a writer, horticulturist, teacher, conservationist, life long gardener, and seventh generation Texan.
