Grey Forest is a city in Bexar County, Texas, United States. The population was 483 at the 2010 census. It is part of the San Antonio Metropolitan Statistical Area.GeographyGrey Forest is located on Scenic Loop Road about 25 miles northwest of Downtown San Antonio.According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.7sqmi, all of it land.DemographicsAs of the census of 2000, there were 418 people, 179 households, and 127 families residing in the city. The racial makeup of the city was 98.80% White, 0.24% Native American, 0.72% from other races, and 0.24% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 7.66% of the population.There were 179 households out of which 28.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 59.2% were married couples living together, 8.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 28.5% were non-families. 22.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 6.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.34 and the average family size was 2.75.
