Growing Together Day Care Services

Our classrooms and curriculum are planned to encourage curiosity, exploration and problem solving in an atmosphere of warmth, affection and respect for each child. At Growing Together Day Care Services, we encourage children to work individually or collaboratively in centers or on projects that are designed around the interests of the children. Children enjoy hands on activities that incorporate the foundations of math, science, social studies, creative art, language arts, music, movement and dramatic play. All aspects of each child’s growth and development, intellectual, social, emotional, physical and creative, are considered in our curriculum. Activities, experiences and teacher-child interactions are constantly being assessed and evaluated in terms of the following growth and development goals- development of a positive self image, respect for the individuality and rights of others, interacting positively with peers and adults, acceptance and expression of both positive and negative feelings, development of independence, development of creative thinking and problem solving, development of emergent literacy and early literacy skills and lastly the development of fine and large motor skills
